I had to put my beloved Risky down September 17th 2005 after 15 years. I cried like a baby. She was my first labrador and the first dog I ever trained for hunt tests. She was an outstanding gun dog and taught me far more than I ever taught her. Her lines were those of Nandool's Blaze'n Gizz, Full Choke of Chub Lake, FC CH Trumarc's Triple Threat, FTC AFTC Gingers Chocolate August, and many other wonderful dogs.
I dug a deep hole in the hard soil on my property and planted a white pine above her. Indian folk lore says if the dead are buried under a white pine that the soul of the deceased would go to the pine and the pine would care for it for eternity.
I don't know how long I can keep raising dogs
when it is so hard to say goodby.
I miss them so much.
The only pain they ever caused me was the day they left me.

Our sweet and wonderful Chase was killed in a tragic accident in June 2004. He needs no introduction to those who have seen him in the show ring. He had tremendous presense and as far as faults go - he had none. He was loved and raised by Jake (pictured above) my sister Jan and her husband Steve and now missed greatly missed by all. If there was ever a dog that could pull on your heart strings, it was him. He now lives on in his offspring.

Hillview's High Voltage "Dam of Canadian National Amateur Champion & US National Open Finalist CNAFTC/CFTC/FC/AFC He's Czar Nicholas". Born May of 1992 died restfully in her sleep Late December of 1995. She was the perfect dog in all respects. She slept with Jennifer when Jennifer was little and hunted pheasants in the Dakota's for many years. I could let any child handle A.C. at fun tests or trials. She was high powered, intelligent, and gentle. She lives on in her children. Her daughter "High Voltage Power On Penny" now sleeps with Jennifer. A.C. will be greatly missed by all who knew her gentle soul. Good by our love.
